Katrina Fincher studies moral psychology. Her research focuses on the basic cognitive and perceptual psychological mechanisms that enable people to live in social groups, in particular three mechanisms that enable this transition; perceptual dehumanization (her primary focus), covert retribution, and sacred values.Â
