    Licensing Program Code of Conduct

    Âé¶¹´«Ã½É«ÇéÆ¬â€™s Licensing Program values ethical practices, attention to sustainability, and quality in our design partners, suppliers, manufacturers, and products. We believe that conducting business responsibly benefits society as well as our various stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, partners, and community members. We strive to create a positive impact on the environment and society through responsible sourcing and production. We seek partnership with vendors that meet the following criteria:

    • Employ ethical fair labor practices
    • Use environmentally responsible, sustainable materials
    • Make products in the United States 
    • Are owned by or employ Âé¶¹´«Ã½É«Ç鯬 alumni 
    • Are local or bespoke independent vendors 
    • Are BIPOC- and women-owned businesses or suppliers

    We expect all our suppliers, manufacturers, and products to adhere to the code of conduct outlined below.

    The New Store

    is the official source for officially licensed merchandise of Âé¶¹´«Ã½É«Ç鯬.

    The New Store aspires to:

    • Offer a modern retail experience that serves as a channel for connecting and identifying with the Âé¶¹´«Ã½É«Ç鯬 brand, student and alumni work, merchandise, creative tools, and intellectual output (e.g., publications) from across the Âé¶¹´«Ã½É«Ç鯬 community.
    • Promote a sense of pride in Âé¶¹´«Ã½É«Ç鯬, convey the university’s values, and reach an extended network of the Âé¶¹´«Ã½É«Ç鯬 community (students, alumni, faculty, staff, family, and friends).
    • Be more than a retail outlet—be a values-driven creative outlet. The university’s approach to design, sustainability, collaboration, and leadership inspires the way we source products, create partnerships, run store operations, and share messaging.
    • Establish an additional channel for engaging with and involving alumni.
    • Become a central home for all Âé¶¹´«Ã½É«Ç鯬 authors and publications.
