The fashion construction studios include menswear and womenswear dress forms, 16 industrial sewing machines, 3 overlockers, a coverstitch machine, 4 industrial iron stations, a leather arm and machine, a buttonhole and zig-zag machine, and 14 large pattern and drafting tables.
The digital computer lab is equipped with cutting-edge technology including 27-inch iMacs and hi-spec PCs, A3 and A4 scanners, and color and black-and-white printing facilities. Each computer terminal has up-to-date software available for student use, including Adobe Creative Cloud and other digital packages.
The making lab space is available to students wishing to produce prototype objects and work with construction materials. The lab is equipped with a wide range of hand tools and power tools to assist in fabrication. Expert technical assistance and supervision are provided on request.
