Each year, some 800 faculty and professionals from around the world receive Fulbright Scholar grants for non-U.S. citizens for advanced research and university lecturing in the United States through the . Individual grants are available to scholars from more than 100 countries. help U.S. international education professionals and senior higher education officials create empowering connections with the societal, cultural, and higher education systems in other countries. Grantees have the opportunity to learn about the host country’s education system and to establish networks of U.S. and international colleagues in the course of an intensive two-week grant period. Grantees return with enhanced ability to serve and encourage international students and prospective study abroad students.
