Can I request copies of documents previously issued by ISSS?
ISSS issues updated I-20s and DS-2019s to F-1 and J-1 students and scholars when they are reporting updates and making changes to their SEVIS records. All current and previously issued I-20s and DS-2019s and certain ISSS-issued letters can be found in iGlobal under the Documents section of their record. (Documents issued before 2018 may not be available.) It is students' and scholars' responsibility to maintain and make records of all original immigration documents. Although students and scholars can retrieve previously issued I-20s and DS-2019s and certain ISSS-issued letters, we cannot provide copies of other documents such as passports, visas, and I-797s. Current students and scholars who have lost their most recently issued I-20 or DS-2019 can request an I-20 or DS-2019 reprint in ; they will be issued an updated I-20 or DS-2019 reflecting their F-1 or J-1 status at the time of the reprint.
