If you have accepted all or part of the loan, you must complete loan entrance counseling and a Master Promissory Note on if you have not previously taken out Federal Direct Loans at Â鶹´«Ã½É«ÇéƬ.

The requirements on your account will be satisfied once we receive your records and process your loans. It may take two to three business days for us to receive your records from the Department of Education. If you have completed both requirements for the correct loan type and aid year and the requirements still appear on MyNewSchool, please speak with a financial aid counselor.

Annual limits on the amount of Federal Direct Loans that can be borrowed are set by the federal government and may depend on your type of study (undergraduate or graduate), your year in school, and whether you are a dependent or an independent student. Unfortunately, no. The AAS program is an undergraduate degree program. Therefore, even if you already have a bachelor's degree, you are not eligible to take out a Graduate PLUS Loan for the program. In addition, if you are an independent student according to the FAFSA, your parent is not permitted to take out a Parent PLUS Loan on your behalf. Students in this situation often pursue loans from private lenders.
