  • The Master of Fine Arts degree is awarded for completion of 60 credits. Transfer credits are not accepted. Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and fulfill all requirements in a timely manner.

    Students can supplement core classes with electives throughout Parsons and the rest of Â鶹´«Ã½É«ÇéƬ in fields such as design and technology, anthropology, psychology, and urban studies. During the second year, students develop a thesis project, written thesis book, and exhibition.Ìý

  • MFA Interior Design and Lighting Design: Double Major

    Students can earn the Master of Fine Arts degree with a double major in interior design and lighting design by completing 90 credits. All courses must be taken in residence at Parsons; transfer credits are not accepted. The program permits students to begin with the Interior Design or Lighting Design curriculum. The chart below reflects the option beginning with Interior Design.
