The Office of Admission offers appointments for prospective applicants and family members who would like to meet individually with an admission counselor to identify best-fit programs and discuss the admission process. To schedule an appointment, email [email protected].Ìý

Application Preparation Workshops offer tools to prospective undergraduate students planning to apply to a Â鶹´«Ã½É«ÇéƬ program. The workshops cover all aspects of the application process, including audition and portfolio preparation, writing a strong statement of purpose and/or essay, and gathering and submitting supplemental materials.

Audition events are held in New York City and selected locations around the world for applicants to undergraduate and graduate programs at the College of Performing Arts.

Student-led campus tours introduce visitors to our academic facilities. Student housing is not included. Only those with appointments will be able to tour campus. Please register for the tour most appropriate for your interests:

• Undergraduate Programs Tours—These 90-minute student-led campus tours introduce visitors to the undergraduate academic facilities at Parsons School of Design, Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts, and/or the College of Performing Arts. These tours provide a general, broad overview of campus facilities frequented by undergraduate students at Â鶹´«Ã½É«ÇéƬ. Those seeking a more focused introduction to a particular area of study are encouraged to register for a school-specific tour.Ìý
• Graduate Programs Campus Tours—These 60-minute student-led campus tours introduce visitors to the graduate academic facilities at Parsons School of Design, the College of Performing Arts, and/or Â鶹´«Ã½É«ÇéƬ for Social Research. These tours provide a general, broad overview of campus buildings used by graduate students at Â鶹´«Ã½É«ÇéƬ. Those seeking a more focused introduction to a particular area of study are encouraged to connect directly with program chairs or faculty.Ìý
• College of Performing Arts Undergraduate Programs Campus Tours—These 60-minute student-led campus tours introduce visitors to the undergraduate academic facilities at the College of Performing Arts. Those seeking a broader, more general overview of undergraduate study at Â鶹´«Ã½É«ÇéƬ, including study at Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts and/or Parsons School of Design, are encouraged to register for an Undergraduate Programs tour.Ìý

We limit registrants to one guest to provide the best overall experience for visitors and accommodate the maximum number of prospective students on our tours. Many of our facilities, including elevators and hallways, cannot accommodate large groups. If not fully booked, we may allow more than one guest to join a tour at the guide's discretion. We appreciate your understanding.Ìý

These events are open fairs for graduates, undergraduates, and/or transfer students, at which Admission representatives staff a table on behalf of Â鶹´«Ã½É«ÇéƬ. They serve as an initial point of contact between students and colleges without the need for students to travel to visit the college itself, allowing them to interact with admission representatives from a wide range of post-secondary institutions.Ìý

Information Sessions are 45- to 60-minute in-person presentations by Admission staff and/or faculty designed for students interested in applying for admission.Ìý

These events are for high school juniors interested in applying to undergraduate programs at Â鶹´«Ã½É«ÇéƬ. We provide students and families with information about navigating the college search process, preparing an application for admission, financing a college education, and what it's like to study at Â鶹´«Ã½É«ÇéƬ in New York City.

Join Â鶹´«Ã½É«ÇéƬ for a special virtual event designed for high school juniors beginning their college search for fall 2027.

At this event, students and families will learn how to:

• Navigate the college search process
• Prepare a strong application for admission
• Evaluate and choose between offers of admission
• Understand financial aid and the cost of college
• Explore what it’s like to study at Â鶹´«Ã½É«ÇéƬ in New York City

Prospective students will also have the opportunity to connect with current students and admission staff, learn more about our undergraduate degree and pre-college programs, and gain confidence in identifying the college that’s the right fit for them.

Whether you’re just starting to explore your options or already thinking ahead to applications, this event will help you take the next step with clarity and confidence.

Thinking about transferring to Â鶹´«Ã½É«ÇéƬ from another university or community college? Our Transfer Days provide potential applicants with the opportunity to identify the best-fit program and receive an estimate of earned transfer credits and a timeline to graduation.

Workshops and master classes are educational sessions designed to give prospective students the opportunity to interact with the faculty of teaching artists and with students at the College of Performing Arts.
